......protected at the highest levels."
That is a very powerful statement, when applicable and especially when true. As shareholders in various Pinkie companies, you and I can attest to the veracity of that statement each time we access the CMKX message boards and see the latest activity or lack thereof.
I shudder each time I think about the statement, "a little bad is good for the marketplace."
Especially since it was delivered by a high ranking member of the sec. Okay so I’m paraphrasing a bit, but the meaning is still the same. When these people, the watchdogs against corruption in the market place utter the statement that a bit of NSS voracity is good for the marketplace, I’m scarred crapless that I’ve entered into and must reside against my will, in a truly nefarious Orwellian world.
Now I plan to make a prediction for the coming week, months and maybe years, with regards to the finalizing the CMKX experience. But not one based on a crystal ball, tarot cards or palm reading, rather a prediction based on some inescapable facts, which must lead any rational and intelligent person to the same logical conclusions.
But first, you will have to endure a bit of venting on my part.
My first vent / question is, since when is the selling by a third party of something that doesn’t belong to them a “good” thing?
Isn’t that really the heights of arrogance, stupidity or incompetence or all combined, to utter that statement, or are we truly residents in an insane world ruled by a culture of corruption and just haven't awakened to the fact?
It has been said that the NSS is my baby, in the sense that I harp on it constantly. It's been suggested that I should broaden my horizons on the boards to also encompass the other evils of the world taking place in plain view.
Unfortunately I have to decline, since I discovered over the years, that while I’m extremely efficient at multi-tasking at a very high level, I do so at a cost to the many things I’m working on. So I’ve resolved in my old age, not be a jack of all trades, but instead to just be the master of one at a time.
By that I mean when I turn my attention to detail to a specific situation, condition or matter, I stay focused on it until I resolve it, or I see that it will be resolved. Only then do I move to another issue. The rest of the World’s evils will just have to wait until this one (NSS) is whacked...
Having said that, I want to return to what I opened this post with and that is what I perceive, as I hope other will also, that NSS is a very significant issue, one that has and will continue unabated, unless or until we all make a concerted effort to combat it at all levels.
I truly feel that if we focus as a group on this issue, it will have a rippling effect on evil, in that both awareness and justice can prevail and serve as the impetus for significant change.
If we do not challenge the notion uttered by the SEC and the DTCC, that selling naked shares is not harmful, people have no reason to doubt it. But you and I both know first hand, that such a practice which preclude you and I as buyers from ever getting delivery of the shares that we thought we had purchased is far from being a "good" thing for the marketplace.
It doesn’t matter that this practice is routinely carried out on Wall Street, with a wink and a smile by the bad guys and their cohorts, it must be stopped or else we truly are doomed, not just as investors, but as a country that the World looks to as a leader. Right now greed stupidity and ignorance has placed us as a country, heavily in debt. If the note(s) are ever called, or our creditors decide not to extend us any more credit, whoa Nellie.. the defection will surely impact the oscillating rotary blades.
Simple elementary logic should suffice and tell those who question NSS, that when there are more than one “owner” of the same shares and when the exact same shares show up in my long account and yours, the process known as NSS is real time event which must be recognized and dealt with.
When this real time event is repeated countless times over the course of a day, a month, a year, we truly do have a serious problem.
Question? How is it that these “allegedly intelligent people,” these watchdogs and enablers of the market place, fail to comprehend that for example, when 100 real shares are naked shorted to such an extent, that we all have the same shares in many thousands of accounts, someone is simply running a photocopier 24/4 and distributing these fakes as real?
That is not a difficult concept to grasp, and if they don't grasp it, then they should take my word it is in fact harmful to the investing public and our country at large.
Hey FWIW, in my opinion, these manipulation situations exist, not by accident but apparently by design. So excuse me if I vent about the veracity that NSS is somehow “good” for the marketplace.
In my humble opinion, it is the supreme mark of either idiocy or arrogances to say that to "do good" by deception and or force is a good motive.
That same mentality would be the perfect vehicle for furthering and harboring the idea that power-lust and stupidity are also good motives to operate by in a given situation.
That is a very frightening thought that we have, as a result of enforced or self serving apathy has placed us in the position of being sheep routinely slaughtered, to serve the needs of the corrupt.
People it doesn’t have to be that way, we can simply say that we choose today, to not allow the corrupt to feed off of us, that we do not wish to participation any further in such activities, or for that matter, any situation which harms us especially those which are the results of our active ignorance on the matter. We need to choose right now to stand up for what is ours.
You don’t even have to trust me on this, since others also share this same sentiment, but regardless of the setting, be it the sand box in the schoolyard, the market place the government, or world politics; the notion that a little evil is good is not harmful is that thing which will ultimately be most harmful to us all.
There is no such thing as a small evil. Evil grows exponentially if we allow it by not interdicting when we can or should. Evil in any form, if allowed to flourish, ends up eventually gobbling up all the truth in any situation.
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) argues that financial regulation is not global issue and that it would take a long time before it would be.
Further that there may be global rules needed but first, implementation is really local, determined by cultural, political and economic factors.
Amazing isn't it! That the DTCC should utter these very wise sounding words? But these words ring hallow when applied and securitized specifically to the actions of the DTCC and I would also add, the SEC.
The reason that different segments of the financial industry, both here and on a World stage are at varying levels of regulatory coordination, is not that they don’t understand the problems and how to effect change, they do. It’s simply that they are looking to these agencies (SEC, DTCC) for a clear direction that America is taking with regards to the matter.
When those who profess to be effecting change are thought and even found suspicious or even nefarious in their own actions to profit from a corrupt system, how can anyone at any level be expected to seriously consider entertaining and or attempting to bring about real and beneficial change to any of the World’s markets?
Financial crimes - fraud, corruption and theft should never be seen as a “part or way of doing business.” That is the mindset of those who don’t want to lose the opportunity to plunder the Golden goose which is the America and other World markets.
No, I’m not naïve on how business or for that matter government works. But I see the the work of evil being put forward, by those who easily suggest how difficult it is to write rules that people locally or globally could agree on. I personally feel that such rhetoric is the baseline approach for delaying tactic and an act for the public consumption to avoid and or prevent change,.
The premise under which evil operates is that while time heals all wounds, enough time will subdue the passions now being associated with “getting the goods on the bad guys” and people will eventually forget the issue, or the reasons for making the laws stick, against those who have committed transgressions against us (CMKX) and society at large.
Politics after all, even seen on the World stage, is really a local event. On that issue I agree with the DTCC. The challenge, which they fail to effect, is actually fixing the situation, instead of profiting from it by exacerbating the evil through obfuscating clarity regarding their involvement.
Only by demanding those charged with being the financial regulators of the market place, can we expect change and hopefully restitution and relief from NSS and other forms of manipulation. We must demand these people comply with the laws and we must insist on their participation in existing forums of discussion and coordination to resolve and eliminate the NSS issue, through real enforcement efforts, or they should understand that we will ensure they are fired from their positions of public service.
America is going bankrupt people. If we don’t take a stand soon and reverse this trend, we will all be millionaires, because that will be what it takes to buy a loaf of bread.
Now my prediction?
I see the CMKX NSS issue as a real event.
I see us, the shareholders of CMKX becoming a more cohesive focused force maybe under the tutelage of Frizzel and or some other leader, which will move us forward to seriously combat the NSS.
I see ideas being expressed by Frizzell this week, as a wake up call and a call to arms for all of us to wage war against manipulators of the CMKX dream, at all levels.
I would strongly encourage everyone, if Frizzell indicates it, to get involved so that we can take back the markets and restore some semblance of integrity and investor confidence in the American /CMKX dream.
I adhere to the words of Sun Tzu in my business dealing specifically and in general, I have follow a simple philosophy for explaining life’s trials an tribulations to those who comment on the unfairness of life when it comes to a personal issue or cause.
I explain to them that the objective of anyone dedicated to a cause is to thoroughly analyze all situations, anticipate all problems prior to their occurrence, have answers for these problems, and move swiftly to solve these problems when called upon.
Failing that, I suggest that they simply fall back to a position to explain any failures as one that realizes, “when you are up to you’re a%* in alligators, it is difficult to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp."
I think that the TF has drained the swamp and exposed the manipulators and I feel that it is our turn now to take predatory actions and feed off the manipulators for a change.
Just one finally thought regarding the manipulators…. Jesus may love y'all, but the rest of us think y’all are just pendejos!
Gotta run..browsing real estate investments and Motorhomes today... I'm getting more comfortable with having my home on wheels...
