On 31, Granny twoshoes has a thread called "how" did you pick you avatar?...we have a basic idea of our talents... as a group ...which is impressive to say the least....how about a peek into the old gray matter...on why the name and avatar....you picked...
here's mine....
I have been on the net in many different forums for a long time….but the name I have always used is the same and derived from this …<br>
“An alert was triggered at the North America Air Defense Command. Moving at 22,000 miles per hour, it was heading toward Earth and had been determined to NOT be incoming ballistic missiles, or any other type of conventionally explainable object.
Once tracked, it was code-named "Fast Walker". I don't even know if you can solve what the object was…. maybe it's one of those enigmas that's just gonna be with us forever. What type of craft would have that ability? Some people might say, 'A UFO'." Lol…But it definitely was a “FASTWALKER.” ….lol
BTW, my name also brings up this in the UFO section of Google….lol

I use the avatar of the Penguin…for this reason…they are considered to be the most social of birds which is a good choice for a chat rooms / message boards. Also the Penguin legs are short and strong, it’s feet are webbed, with visible claws. The legs are set far back on the body to aid in streamlining and steering while swimming. This placement also causes penguins to stand vertically and walk upright.
Sp Penguins walk with short steps or hops, sometimes using their bills or tails to assist them selves on steep climbs. The maximum walking speed for Adélie penguins is 3.9 kph (2.4 mph). Emperors and kings walk slowly and do not hop. The maximum speed for emperors is 2.8 kph (1.7 mph). Some species, like the rockhopper, jump from rock to rock.
In other words they are not a “fastwalker”…the entire package is an “oxymoron” in a sense, the usage is intended to be a play on contradictory picture and term.
