The latest rumor is that we are headed for the AMEX. If that's the case, I was wondering at what price the lowest stocks on that board were trading.
Well, I did a quick check on closing prices for all the stocks listed on the AMEX and the lowest price I saw was .13! I then checked all the sub .20 priced stocks to see what they're 52 week ranges were. Out of the sub .20 stocks, the lowest price over the past year was .10! Also, another thing to consider is the AMEX only trades in penny increments!
My disclaimer is I didn't look at every stocks 52 week performance so there could have been some that were higher priced now, but were below .10 at some point, but I thought that would be unlikely. Anyway, I just thought I'd pass this along.
