Commentary....
What would happenCMKX pps was say .20?
I think it would have to be rather obvious that hundreds of millions, if not billions of shares would suddenly be offered for sale by many shareholders. Offered would be the correct word here, because you can always attempt to sell things, but you first need a buyer. With the huge amount of sell orders out there, you would need just as many buy orders to keep the pps up to even .10. If there were more buy orders (quanitity of course), then the pps would remain around .20 and possibly go higher if the buys were much higher than the sells? Would buy orders keep up with the sell orders?
If 30 billion shares traded hands at $.20, then we're speaking $6 billion dollars! Would one stock warrant that much trade in one day...probably not? Computers would probably crash and traders would probably be having heart attacks? If CMKM came up with a youth formula to take years off of your life by simply taking a pill or something, then I could maybe see such a thing happening? But would simply knowing that CMKM has some diamonds on their claims warrant such a thing?
It's easy to see that the pps would and could stay at $.20 and even go higher if the number of shares available to the secondary market was low. The demand exceeding the supply is naturally going to raise the price. The problem with CMKM is that there seems to be far too many shares out there to do this? The problem obviously is this and to rectify it there are probably only a limited few ways to do so? Everyone is aware of a reverse split, but yikes, that's what most of us don't want! The company buying back shares and converting them to treasury stock is another. A buyout/merger can be another way.
I remember when someone on the official board started a thread which asked if everyone would accept a $.50 buyout by CMKM and many people said "heck no!" The reason they did is that they thought we could be sitting on the biggest bonanza of all time and the stock should be worth at least $5.00 per share. I asked them at that time if they were kidding? To me, $.05 per share would be very nice, but that may even be too high at this point in time? I wonder if those that thought $.50 per share was too low would think so now?
If the demand for diamonds rose and CMKM had a plentiful supply of them, then the stock would do well. That is what has made DeBeers so successful in this industry. First you have to harvest those diamonds and that takes time and money. To top it off, what if the demand for diamonds decreased dramatically? After all, just what keeps their value so high? Would they still be as valuable 20 years from now?
To be successful in the business world, it takes timing as well as "having the goods."
Sorry to ramble on, but I like to just think about these things and it's not my intention to lead anyone into buying or selling their shares. I just like to make people think about their actions/decisions. Try to think about what you are doing and take responsibility for it. Don't blindly follow the advice of others and certainly don't blame anyone but yourself if things don't go the way they said. Pumpers and bashers intentionally lie to make a profit and on these boards it's sometimes very difficult to tell who is who?

These question without answers are much better than some answers without questions...
Really, what sould we do if the price suddenly jumps up high?
I'm sure everybody has his own exit point (the best logical basis on this one I read from RetiredMiner on the official board, remember? about three months ago...)
But I have to admit I better know untill what I will hold the whole investment - for centuries! if we don't take De Beers' way sooner... And I am absolutely helpless to decide how many and for how much I'll sell in the nearest future. It depends on too many conditions... Please, note, I'm not talking about MY dreams and desires, but about the company's business and the market reaction on this...

There are a lot of people out there which own this stock. Many of them are everyday people who will indeed be selling as soon as there is any significant movement in the pps.I see and don't blame them for wanting to get the return on their money.People would like to get their initial investment back and a little living expenses for the near future. That's ok and I don't blame them for taking this road. Many of us do not have the freedom to make a choice in our investments. There is a certain course of events we must act on.That's fine with me.I am happy for these investors.
Now comes to the part I hate sometimes.
I myself,am subborn, smart, foolish, and amazing sometimes. Most of the time I fall into the category of those who wait.I see an opening to make some good profit on my investment and do not sell.I find that I have invested more time than money in the initial investment.I choose to ride out the investment in time because I have spent too much time getting there. There is a lot of unknown work and dedication that comes before the first phase of buying a stock. It is extremely easy to buy and sell stock. The hardest part is knowing when to sell.I try to follow Warren Buffet's philosophy.Learn and know everything possible about a stock.Do all your work possible.Buying is easy, but you will prepare yourself better for when to sell.I have bought time along with stock in this company and when the time comes around,I will know when to sell.I'm stubborn, but hopefully wise in my intentions.I believe this company needs time more than anything else. When the pps starts to move,so shall a lot of people.I believe closer towards the end, there will not be such a large crowd in selling.I will choose to stand with a few at the end.
Hopefully taking an alternate road will lead me to an easier ride in the future.I hope I make sense because sometimes I don't understand myself.

Saturn: The problem we all face with CMKX. Is that this is not a short term play. On almost all the stocks I have bought. I as you get caught up in the same situation. But with CMKX. We are not only looking at the short term drilling for core samples. But then phase two of the larger samples. Then phase 3 the open mining. This could take up to 5 years to complete.
I myself will never sell all my shares. I will sell a few of my shares for some spending money if it gets to where I feel that it is at a good price. That is no where close to .05 either. I will never drop below 30M shares anytime within the next 3 yrs for sure. I am long and strong. The first two projects will be just the tip of the mountain.
This might seem funny to all. But the thing I fear most about CMKX. Is UC buying us all out. I am one who does not want that to happen.
All this is just my opinion. Please no one follow what I do. I am a gambler and do not mind taking risk. Some you win some you don't. I feel very strongly about being a big winner here with CMKX.
