I feel that this is relevent on all boards.
Pumpers deliberatelly try to get people to buy a stock that they own, thinking the price will go up, so that they may profit. They are and can be as bad as the bashers we faced on the CMKX message boards.
To a degree we all will look more favorablly on a stock that we own, after all we did invest in it. There are some how ever that go beyond and will look foreward to taking advatage of novice investors, wich is why I am creating this thread. I am finding more and more novice investors checking out these other stock areas on CMKX message boards. I hope that this one will become exceptional with good discusions on some stocks that people have interests in or are investing in. Unfortinately, this is where pumpers will also come to take advantage.
My advice to novice as well as exspeirienced investors.
Do as much reserch as you can on any stock before you invest in it. Do not beleive anything said, but what is proved by PRs, news or other credible sources. Please verify it when reasonable to do so.
Keep track of different posters credability in their opinions on what has been proven. This will take time, but will help you in the future.
PM those you trust and the moderators, asking their opinions on specific stocks and posters thoughts. I am sure most would be glad to give you an at least I am not sure if nothing else, but you might also get the needed information to make a better desision.
Then only invest when you feel 100% comfortable. When you do not feel that comfort level, it is usually for a good reason.
Another thing to remember, a diferent stock will go up tomorow if you miss the one that went up today. Take your time there is never a rush. There is always another good stock to invest in.
