--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DFNS is a profitable, low-float, and growing global DEFENSE and SECURITY company based in Israel. The company reported strong 2Q 2004 quarterly results last week.
DFNS reported revenues of $2,826,725 for 2Q 2004 compared to $1,952,258 for the same period in 2003, an increase of 44.8%. Net income was 1c/share compared to break even last year. Here is the release:
biz.yahoo.com/bw/040813/135113_1.html
The increase in revenues was due to a significant increase in export military sales to North and South America. This increase was primarily due to sales of patented ballistic plates, and lightweight vehicle armor kits.
DFNS is on track to achieve about $12 million in revenues and 4 to 6c/share in 2004. This compares to revenues of $9 million and net income of $12 million in 2003.
DFNS at 45c is extremely undervalued trading at about 0.7 P/S ratio and a P/E of about 9. DFNS has 25.35 million O/S shares. The CEO, Joseph Postbinder owns 19.44 million shares. The current public float is about 5 million shares.
There is no downside at this price ...just a huge upside. This one moves fast with little volume. DFNS usually flies with new contract news. In May it went from 25c to over 80c in just a few days. It also follows major security stocks when they become momentum plays.
About Defense Industries International..(DFNS):
DFNS is a manufacturer and global provider of personal military and civilian protective equipment and supplies. DFNS's products are used by military, law enforcement, border patrol enforcement and other special security forces, corporations, non-governmental organizations and individuals throughout the world.
Customers include the Israel Defense Forces, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces and other U.N. organizations.
Highlights of Some Key DFNS defense/security products:
Body Armor
DFNS' body armor products are in current use and battle-proved by defense and paramilitary forces in israel and in many parts of the world.
The company body armor products are manufactured from the strongest most advanced and light-wight materials available to provide maximum protection while allowing maximum mobility and comfort. The company armor vests meet and exceed the most stringent international standards among them the NIJ 0101.04 standard.
Hard Armor Plates
The company manufactures and supplies hard armor plates made from the most advanced ballistic composite materials like advanced ceramics, unmw polyethylene and aramid fabrics. Stand "alone plates" are used for vehicle-armoring of aircrafts helicopters, and all types of ground and water military and paramilitary equipment.
Patented Ballistic Wall Covering
DFNS owns U. S. Patent 6212-840-bl for Ballistic Wall Covering for the protection from blast damage for walls and window frames of a structure.
This Technology is listed with the G.S.A. under contract GS-07F-006..
The blast and aftershock that follows a nearby explosion, causes building walls to collapse and fragmentize -turning the fragments of concrete and brick into lethal projectiles, slamming into everything in their path. It is known that nearly all the injuries and fatalities caused by nearby explosions were from flying concrete and brick fragments.
DFNS uses a unique fabric shield which stretches under the impact of the blast, distributing the stresses caused. This prevents concrete and brick fragments from penetrating into the building interior, thus shielding and minimizing injury to people inside.
This fabric shield has been thoroughly blast tested, approved and recommended by the israel defense home command and successfully demonstrated at the Quantico Marine Base in Virginia.
