Aggressive investors and traders will want to watch GEMZ Corp. (Other OTC:GMZP.PK - News) this morning! Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing that it expects to market a nanotechnology-based illuminated safety house number sign.

This could be more good news for investors! The product will be marketed in versions for up to four and up to five numbers, and will be brightly visible day or night. This product results from the collaboration with Terra Solar Development Corporation. The high efficiency of the nanotechnology-based photovoltaic cell recharges the device for a week on only eight hours of daylight. Unlike existing devices, direct sunlight is not required.
The company believes that their product will meet a widely felt need. Police and emergency workers have recommended products of this type; however existing products have been too expensive and have too short a life to be suitable for mass marketing.
The product is expected to be available for sampling in the fourth quarter of 2004. Pricing has not been announced but is expected to be very competitive with older, more limited solutions.
Investors will want to watch this one! We last reported that the company took note of published reports indicating that the market for technology being developed by its subsidiary, International Nanotechnology Corp., is growing at a rate exceeding 30% per year.
The stock closed yesterday at around a half a cent a share.

TSDC is a leading developer of photovoltaic and nanocell technology.
Stocks showing interesting activity yesterday at the close of the regular trading day were: Eagle Broadband Inc. (AMEX:EAG - News) up 8.9% on 9.5 million shares traded, General Electric Company (NYSE:GE - News) down 0.8% on 12.5 million shares traded and AT&T Wireless Services (NYSE:AWE - News) up 0.1% on 9.3 million shares traded.
