:oJust a general feeling about the CIM dividend. With all the rumors about CIM going around many people seem so overwhelmed that they are just laughing at them. Its almost reached the point where there are so many unbelievable rumors we don't even expect anything to happen. I actually think there is a good chance something big will happen, maybe not tomorrow, but soon. I just don't know when.
In 2003, when the first CIM dividend was issued, it seemed to have almost no effect on anything. I expected the company to go public and create some value in the company for the shareholders. At that time, I had no idea it was issued to fight the NSers, which I strongly believe now. Anyway, it didn't seem to do anything much regarding the price.
This time, with Glenn aboard, the CIM dividend is there for a reason and I think Glenn will do a lot more with it. Distributing the UCAD dividend was just the first step with the UCAD dividend. The quick second step was to change the date and catch certain brokers with phony shares. the thrid step turn the dividend into a 3:1. A nice way to put more pressure on the NSers and give the shareholders more potnetial to make money. Also, the 3:1 dividend was reported previously as a race rumor. The fourth step - maybe increase the distribution rate per million? The fifth - another split?
Now CIM is a different story. I believe, it is a public, but not registered company. So it is really pretty easy to get to the market. I believe it is owned by UC or CMKX for the most part so UC has total control over it, unlike UCAD. It is likely there is really nothing much going on in CIM at this point and the only activity was the CMKX dividend and the other transactions with CMKX. It is probably all set to go public since that was the intention a year ago. So what are they going to do? I don't know but I highly doubt the plan will be as uneventful as the 2003 dividend. These dividends cost money and take a lot of work to distribute, and now you have Glenn to use it as he sees fit.
Since the announcement of all these dividends did not increase CMKX's PPS, it seems to me the next step would be to register CIM and start the merger process. It just seems likely that these companies are going to become some sort of mining/distribution conglomerate eventually, and this will take time, so why not start now and add some extra pressure on the NSers. I also think that Glenn could just wear down the NSers with dividend after dividend but I think Glenn will do that and also keep increasing the pressure as each day goes by. He doesn't want to stay on their timetable, he wants to move forward on his timetable. I don't know who CIM will merge with, but it just seems a likely thing to happen.
I guess you need to know the answer to the question whether the plan is to increase the CMKX PPS or to give the value back to the shareholders through dividends, mergers, IPO's etc. One thing that would really surprise me would be if someone actually predicted what is going to happen.
Hopefully, the plan will start us on the road to wealth.

If CIM is going to be the zinc company that the PR stated, and not the Ark to carry everyone off to the promised land like Dr.D proposed....
Then I think it was suggested that they need to wait for winter to retrieve the zinc deposit from georges lake.

click that link in the pr u posted, its the geologists assement of george lake, i read it, some of the lingo may throw u off, but you can understand the basis of it.. george lake is the location, its a big azz lake, and there is the other name, bromwell, i think, but both names are the same.. THE CLAIMS ARE ON LAND.. the lake is a location..its around george lake, the claims..
at the george lake claims, we have zinc, galena, ( galena is a lead/silver ore) and minor silver.. all 3 metals are valuable, silver is in a shortage still from 1990, lead is a industrial metal, and zinc has a huge shortage, and china cannot buy enough of it. same as copper, iron, nickel, all and every industrial metal, china is gung ho about, they want to get modernized.. they also are buying huge gold, they want like 12 million tons plus, over the next 5 years, thats the whole world production for 5 YEARS, gold... they opened up private ownership of gold to the chinese people, gold is a shortage also, and thats why the price is up, with also our falling dollar.. direct ratio, falling dollar/gold goes up.. and we just got a huge high grade gold mine.. not counting what we have in sassy land, or other deals in south america...(S.A.)
Now CIM, u know, i read all the theories, and I still don't know what roger and urbie have planned.. i can see a merger coming in, and lets not forget nevada minerals, they are private also. sggm.. sure, but then sggm may be awakening on its own again, and they are public. i know cmkx is urbie's dream, and i think he wants to keep it cmkx, roger can clean the shorts, but could be mergers with others out there that are private.. NM is one.. and then again, CIM can do like UCAD last jan, new, clean and went on a buying spree, and look at UCAD now.. we should had done that, but our NS problem was massive.. but, CIM is clean.. like ucad. Just some thoughts, that's all, but i still do alot of thinking.. ok J, hope this helps, but george is a location, like green lake is.. just a location, claims are on land.

CIM - The key is "10% lifetime" which implied that CIM will be ipoed and trading as independent company. If UC did not mean to ipo this baby then how the heck shareholders would get 10% life time loyalty...IMO
