Folks I had a great time Friday and Saturday at the races meeting Urban Casavant, Ron Casavant, Jeff Arend and wife, Jason Webb, Anthony Topo, Drymouth, Sterling as well as shareholders from all over the country. Everyone was looking forward to the party Saturday night. There was doubt that the Texas Station would have an adequate place to hold such a party, but UCAD/CMKX and Texas Station handled it well. I feel UCAD/CMKX and the Texas Station need to be applauded for overcoming the overwhelming turnout of guests. They handled the shortage of chairs and tables promptly. The food, atmosphere and entertainment were excellent. Rendal Williams came up to me and introduced himself and continued around the room meeting and greeting others. Casavant and family were late getting there (possibly due to the race schedule). The giveaways were great; a car, approximately a total of $5,000 cash to numerous people and 30 entertainment/computer devices valued at about $500.0 ea. (Me included). After the giveaways the band played a while and then the mc announced to everyone to turn their attention to the screens and the following 3-4 minute video would be self explanatory. The video consisted of shots of the race car, Casavant's family and people stuffing envelopes. Once the video ended the lights came up and the band started playing again. That's when the lady from Canada picked up a microphone and interrupted the band. She said she wanted some information because she didn't come all the way from Alberta to have dinner and dance. Most everyone I could see applauded her statement including me. We all were expecting to be be told something, even being told thanks and that nothing else could be told would have been better in my opinion than what happened. No one knows what the SEC/RG's instuctions were but WOW what a shocker to have all those people from all over the United States, Canada, Netherlands and even Germany (probably more but these are the ones I met) to be sitting there in the dark. Some told the lady on stage that she got information (I don't know what they were referring to) she said G** D** IT that is not enough then she was applauded again and got off the stage. The band started playing again and people looked really lost then pretty much emptied the room. I talked to Drymouth and others in his group that were really disappointed that UC and company could meander around the races all day but couldn't take a couple of minutes to address the folks at the party who had come so far. I tried to talk to Sterling but he had a group who he was talking to. Then I was able to talk to a CMKX team memeber (not going to say who) who said it was a shame but due to this SEC investigation they were told the party had to be just that a party and no sort of information to the public was allowed due to the investigation, and the SEC is very serious when they say that. He said they were instructed not to even tell the guests that. I felt really bad for the folks who had traveled so far for dinner and dancing. I only traveled 190 miles (2 1/2hrs). Good things 1. Great weather. 2. Met nice shareholders at races and party. 3. Kids loved their play time 3. Nice ballroom, food and music. 4. Nice prizes given away. 5. Meet UC at races and RW at party along with other CMKX team memebers.. Not so good. 1. Kids loved there play time (only we didn't know it was seperate from the adult party and there was a fee). 2. Not enough tables and chairs (which was fixed but very awkward for the first 30 minutes). 3. Tables around dance floor had reserved signs but not sure for who. 4. T-shirt give away was not supervised so the first come loaded up last served got what was left over. 5. NOT informed that there would not be any quest speakers. Folks the MM's were somewhat successful in dampening the spirits of the CMKX shareholders with their timing on the SEC filling. I feel for Urban and Rendal and those who traveled so far. STILL LONG AND STRONG!!!! ;D

Folks, I just read some of the post from when I was in Vegas. Answers: 1. The Lady from Canada did not storm the stage. 2. She said what most the folks were thinking. 3. She didn't need to say G** D*** that was uncalled for. 4. Didn't see UC talking to her or the 60 people outside (may have happened I just didn't see), there was a lot of activity on the far side of the room. 5. It was stated that UC was planning on speaking in my opinion that is BULL the schedule for the night was just about over when the lady got on stage the mc had announced that "love shack" would continue to play and for everyone to have a good time. 6. I feel sorry for the shareholders who came so far expecting to hear from UC/RW/RG. And I especially feel for UC and RW for not being able to tells us what they had planned due to the SEC (MM's screwing with us).
Having now read post from folks saying negative things about the people who put out the time and money to attend a share holder appreciation party. I can see how easy it must be to set in you in front of your computers and talk down towards some folks who took action and attended the party. Do you know that old saying "Walk a mile in my shoes". For those that didn't go but like to say how wrong it was that those emotion were shown at the party think about all you would have had to do to show your support for UC/RW/RG and CMKX. 1. Like taking vacation from work. 2. Spend $$$. 3. Airport travel is always fun. 3. Possible finding a sitter for the kids or pets. 4. Getting lost in Lag Vegas trying to find your way around. All I have to say is it was a good time other than the folks who were there eating drinking speculating on what the speakers would say and then to finalize realize there was no one going to speak.
I'll be at the Pomona California races and will personally apologize for the way the night turned out because I was there not home sitting in front of my computer. After (on the way back to my hotel room) realizing that here had been instruction by RG to keep quiet I felt bad for the way the night ended but being there I realize why what happened happend.
Lets all relax and hang in there
Calminer.
I feel like FW today taking up so much space on this great board. I'm done now, it takes me far to long to type and my spell checker is at the store.

Calminer, yours were the best posts from the entire party, no hype, just a good statement of the facts. Thanks so much for keeping the board informed and level headed, and welcome home.
A special thanks to Mrs. Calminer for keeping us up to date!

Hey LQ, I should have posted here in your thread ... I am back home now - had a hangover this morning . All in all, Vegas was cool. The party was cool. I have read a lot of posts about "the shareholders" and "the lady" ruining the party. Well, eventhough the lady came all the way from Canada, it was pretty lame of her to interupt the band, etc,. As far as the other shareholders (us), I think everyone acted pretty normal - it wasn't a riot at all. Oh, and I think the lady who went onto the stage was a legitimate shareholder, not a plant - JMO. IMO, the lady didn't alter the outcome of any news being released. Obviously, there are many reasons why the company couldn't release the news they had planned - things don't always work out as planned (especially when you are butting heads with powerful "bad guys"!). So, IMO, the news is still there, waiting to be released - this will just make it all the more sweeter when the $$ starts rolling in - at least it wasn't "too" easy, to say the least. I think the hardest thing about this stock for the shareholders is getting past themselves and not freaking out - don't get me wrong, I was bummed out because we didn't get any news (I didnt have any exact expectations, just thought the company would talk and we would hear something "good") - but, I know the news is still there, so I am not complaining. Hey, just be glad the company is doing the right thing even when it isn't when we want it - looking forward to Wednesday, and if not Wednesday, Thursday... etc,. b. (oh, and the food and band were awesome - the companies did a kick-a@$ job of putting this together)

Hey Bullit glad to hear you made it home ok. I made it home around 12:30, I agree if everything in my life worked out the way I planned I would already be wealthy enough to stay home with my boys. The party was great its just too bad the MM's put a damper on UC/RW and RG's information they had planned on sharing with us. Hopefull the end of next week will bring some good PR's (time will tell).
