And he said he was not familar with the nss problem so I gave him a brief run down on the situation. I did not mention cmkx, just the nss problem and how long it had been going on and the end results. He asked why the sec had done nothing to stop this and I told him the sec was part of the problem because they had not enforced the laws in place to stop the problem but did finally pass reg sho which is full of loopholes. He took my name address and phone no and said he would call the sec and get back with me to confirm or contredict the responce he gets from them. If the sec suddenly started getting calls from each shareholders congressman something might happen for the good in all this. I called mine will you call yours.

Unfortunately I've never been able to physically speak with my congressman or senator. Always an assistant. I live near DC, you'd think it would be easy.

Try emails with specific information and give some web addresses that adress this situation, Ask him questions in the emails and remind him that he works for you if it takes too long to get an answer from him. If he still does not respond send an email and ask who was elected to congress that does represent you and the rest of American people that will give you some answeres.

Not bashing / Just past history / current events If you get congress to listen to you. Here is what you will have to do. Copy all your thoughts and all the information you can on the latest technology available at this time. Make back up copies. Your Grand kid's / kids (2 generations) will have all the information they will need to benefit from this. I think the SEC will handle this OK. They have the experience and the tools they need. Garry

Garry I am not quite following you, unless you mean it will take 60 years for congress to act on our suggestions. Which seems about the right time frame. lol As you can see I don't place much faith in politicians, other than to steal more of my money in taxes. T

It seems to me that the sec has done a wonderful job taking care of this problem for what six to seven years now. I would imagine gary that the seven thousand plus companys that have been driven out of business because of this problem would agree the sec can handle it.

Sorry, I was unaware that this problem has existed that long with so many people effected and nothing has been done about it. I stand corrected and appreciate it. Well, this has a lot of exposure and cannot be sweep under the rug. They will have to belly up to the table. Especially with Bush wanting retirement saving accounts for the young people. Sounds like the MM's will be pushing for it. More money in the tin can. Garry

No doubt the mms are just waiting for more unsuspecting as well as unknowing investors to place their money on the line. If congress doesn't do something about this problem sooner than later I hope when they do it is not too late for our financial markets. There is talk that this was a major contributing factor in the crash of '29, that is why there were laws passed in '34 against this practice. Get the word out if you can Gary. This thing needs all the help it can get to stop these people.
