Okay, again before any one says..fastwalker this is not a "political" forum and what you have posted are simply statements littered with disingenuous rhetoric, and contain a menu of moot accusations that reveal a surprising lack of knowledge and bias.
This is a post I made in reference to the efforts of an other individual regarding the NSS situation.Specifically, I was referring to an Oil company and "alleged" activities.
Rather than bring the entire thing here and get everyone riled up over "political" commentaries, I decided to simply bring a reply made to a PM.
"No, actually, I do my DD about the Company in question, which as a Texan, I'm very familiar with."
These are not baseless accusations, and I'm not attempting to denigrate the efforts of those who write to the current administration. But unless someone within this current administration shows us a "positive" agenda where anything productive has been accomplished, along the lines of intervention or interdiction, with regards to the stock market, it does not change the fact that a "Presidential" involvement will be nothing more than "face time."
Our best opportunities lay with maximizing our efforts to mobilize our "other" Federal Representatives. But then, these nimrods are so wrapped up with the "baseball" fiasco, they can't see a real problem until it hits them in the face. Who cares about such BS, that stuff will not impact the economy and or cause a "cascading failure" of the entire economic infrastructure..
Only when we can "force" recognition", may we possibly see a successful placement of laws and regulations that are designed to recognized, identify and "remove" and prevent the NSS and other active manipulation of the stock market. Of course then, any effective bill will have stupid "riders" attached that will erode some other facet of our lives.
When the "manipulative" components and those who use them, at whatever level, is brought into the light of day, can we truly illuminate the problem and get it fixed.
By "fixed," I don't mean some lame "stop gap measure" such as the toothless "SHO and a "soft shoe" dance by those allegedly in the know on how to fix it and or prevent it from happening again...Guys"since before the great stock market crash," this and other manipulation of the stock market has taken place, with a "wink and a smile," for those who are so clever at stealing from the masses.
The problem is more than just the SEC, that is just the tip of the iceberg. If and when this matter is properly addressed, which I doubt will ever really happen with any effectiveness, the implications of those who are directly involved, or in collaboration with others of interests and similar motivations, will never be dealt with. These people make the mob look like they are playing sandbox games.
At the level these "power brokers operate," to routinely pursue such illegally transactions, the average person will not believe, it will stagger the imagination of even the most rational person, were it to come out.
Where "wealth" and power accumulation are diving forces, interests of a select few (some say the 5,000) has always been to "exceed without being notice," of the said wealth accumulation, at a level above those of all others.
Imagine how the threads of a spider web and how intricate it is weaved and connected to ensure stability, while serving as a "trap" to catch the unsuspected.
Everything having to do with wealth and power is
"interconnected," if that isn't understood, you will miss the gist of this post and simply say."fastwalker is rambling." Not really, juts being practical and realistic.
They (power brokers) sometimes promote these self-serving objectives of wealth attainment by various means, which you and I as "honest" people fail to realize is nothing more than a way to separate the masses from their money.
Reality is, simply because such activities is so "beyond" comprehension, that many average people can't and will never believe them to be true.
So, for all my fellow shareholders I would only add this,
the extent of the manipulation within the stock market and within other money and power venues are so extensive, none will be called to task for their misdeeds.
Those that do get caught, are usually "bottom feeder," that do not "fit" and will never have access to the realm of the "power elite."However, they will be the "patsy" paraded before the public and everyone will rejoice that the problem is being fixed, then sink once again into complacency and apathy.
Sorry, if I sound cynical, it's more than likely my back ground of reality over fiction, kicking in...lol
Take care
