Strathmore's acreage (100,000 acres) is in the northeast part of the Athabasca Basin. Does any one know where United Carina Resources acreage is in Athabasca, other than just saying Wollastan and Hatchet Lake?

Strathmore to Conduct Airborne Survey on its Athabasca
Basin Property
KELOWNA, British Columbia--April 4, 2005--Strathmore Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:STM - News)
- Spring 2005 Exploration Program
Strathmore Minerals Corp. ("the Company"), as part of its ongoing commitment to advance its uranium
projects, is implementing a number of exploration programs.
The Company has initiated exploration at its 100 per cent owned Waterbury Lake property, which is
located within the northeast part of the Athabasca Basin. The claims encompass approximately
100,000 acres and cover areas to north, east and within 500 m to the west of the Midwest uranium
deposit. A number of significant uranium occurrences are in close proximity to the property, including
the Midwest deposit, the Natona Bay deposit, and the La Roque and Waterfound River uranium
occurrences.
The spring exploration program will consist of a Fugro MEGATEM airborne survey covering a total of
1,750 line-kilometers, which are being flown on northwest -southeast spaced lines at 400 meter
spacing. Kit Campbell, P.Geo. of Intrepid Geophysics Ltd. has been retained by the company to
supervise and review the data generated from this geophysical survey.
Previous exploration by other companies on the Waterbury Lake Property indicates that the basement
unconformity is at depths of between about 200 and 500 m. Exploration between 1970 and 1994
included a number of airborne geophysical surveys (radiometric, magnetic and electromagnetic), which
in some cases only covered parts of the property. In addition, ground geophysical surveys, boulder
litho-geochemical surveys, and some drilling identified a number of conductors and geochemical
anomalies. For example, a conductor identified near the north end of the property was tested by a
1996 drill hole and intersected strong hydrothermal alteration immediately above the basement
unconformity, with associated uranium values of 219 parts per million Uranium across 1 meter.
This news release was prepared on behalf of the Company by Jody Dahrouge, P.Geo., of Dahrouge
Geological Consulting Ltd., Edmonton, Alta. Mr. Dahrouge, is the qualified person responsible for the
exploration of Waterbury Lake.
The Company also reports that the latest uranium U3O8 spot price as reported by UxC Consulting LLC
is US$ 22.50 per pound, confirming the continued upward trend in uranium prices.

10/8/2004 CMKM Diamonds, Inc. Announces Joint Venture on Uranium Claims LAS VEGAS, Oct 8, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CMKM Diamonds, Inc., (Pink Sheets:CMKX) is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with United Carina Resources Corp. (UCA) CDNX whereby CMKX can earn a 50 percent interest in recently acquired uranium properties in the Athabaska Basin area of northern Saskatchewan. The terms of the agreement call for CMKX to pay $100,000 dollars on signing and spend $500,000 on exploration during the first year. A further $100,000 is payable on the first anniversary and $750,000 dollars is to be spent during the second year of the deal.
The properties consist of approximately 35,800 acres and are located in the Wollaston Lake - Hatchet Lake area of Saskatchewan. A substantial amount of exploration has been carried out on these properties in the past and United Carina Resources Corp. is undertaking a compilation of all the data available and will undertake fieldwork as soon as possible. Previous work on the claims outlined several conductive zones, which yielded assays in excess of 1% U3Oa. The properties are located 30 kilometers north and northeast of four known uranium deposits (Rabbit Lake, McLean Lake, Collins Bay, and Eagle Point). United Carina will be the operator of the project and Mr. Dave Billard of Saskatoon will be the Qualified Person for the project.
The Wollaston area is one of the world's most prolific districts for rich uranium deposits. Two classifications of deposits are present: the unconformity-type and the basement-type. The unconformity deposits are related to the base of the Athabasca sandstone and usually occur at the contact of the Archean granitoid gneisses with the Aphebian meta sediments (e.g. Collins Bay, McClean Lake). Basement deposits are hosted solely in the meta sediments (e.g. Rabbit Lake, Eagle Point).
All known deposits are related to the junction of north-easterly and northerly-trending faults, and have a close association with graphitic rocks. These deposits may be up to 1000 meters long, 100 meters wide, and less than 20 meters thick. The ore pods consist of a high-grade uranium ore. The deposits are surrounded by extensive alteration halos of chlorite, cericite, illite, and tourmaline. The majority of these deposits straddle the edge of the Athabasca sandstone and exhibit varying degrees of geophysical responses and radiometric signatures.
The claim blocks held by United Carina Resources Corp. have many of the above geophysical characteristics and hence have good exploration potential for uranium.
